Our office, a short drive away in Oxnard, is open on Saturdays and Sundays for emergency dental care, so you can get out of pain without waiting until the work week.

Getting Here From Ventura
Take US-101 south toward Oxnard. Most of Ventura is about 15 to 20 minutes from our office, including Downtown, Pierpont, Midtown, the East End, Montalvo and Saticoy (ZIP codes 93001, 93003 and 93004).
Parking is free and on-site, and the building is wheelchair-accessible.
Weekend traffic on the 101 between Ventura and Oxnard is usually light in the morning, which is one more reason to call as soon as the pain starts. Let us know you're driving down from Ventura and we'll tell you the earliest time we can see you, so you aren't sitting in a waiting room longer than you need to.

If you're visiting Ventura for the weekend, you don't need to be an existing patient. We treat the emergency and give you copies of your X-rays and treatment notes to take home to your own dentist.
Ventura's beaches, bike paths and weekend sports leagues keep a lot of people active, and that means knocked teeth and split lips. If a tooth is knocked out, keep it moist in milk, handle it only by the crown and call us right away. Teeth that are put back quickly have the best chance of being saved.

When to Go to the ER Instead
Go to the hospital for facial swelling that spreads toward your eye or neck, trouble breathing or swallowing, a high fever, or a jaw injury. In Ventura, the closest emergency rooms are Community Memorial Hospital and Ventura County Medical Center.
For tooth pain, a broken tooth or a lost crown, call us first because hospital ERs can't repair teeth.

Dr. Ette Ntekim is a British-trained dentist with more than 20 years of comprehensive and surgical dentistry. He handles everything from root canals and extractions to same-day crowns in our Oxnard office, so most weekend emergencies are treated by the same experienced dentist from start to finish.
